Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update
We all know how bad Windows updates have been for the consumers especially the gamers but finally, we have something where we see some improvements from gaming side of things, especially talking about frames per second. This will be a short article as there is nothing much to talk about. We all use windows 10 in our daily life as of now, but since many of you have requested for the changes before and after the update, we will be providing you with the details in terms of FPS.
So here it is:
Benchmarks: Before And After
All games were benchmarked at 1080p and on Ultra settings with these specs:
CPU: Core i5 6600k (Stock Frequencies)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X
GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Extreme
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED 2133MHz 2x8GB
PSU: Corsair RM 650X
Motherboard: ASUS Z170-K
Storage: Samsung Evo 850 120gb SSD+ 1 TB WD Blue HDD
Change in FPS is not much but its free right? You just update and boom! FPS increase? But no it’s not that easy as updating.
This change in FPS happened cause of a fresh install and NOT a DIRECT UPDATE. I would highly suggest everyone do a fresh install even if it takes a good amount of time for you guys to backup and install the apps again because it is worth it since the update is free.
I hope this short article and benchmark helps you, the viewers, ease your mind on updating to the latest build.
