Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Launched with Snapdragon 625 SoC, 6.44 inch, 5300MAh battery and 4GB RAM

Xiaomi in their Livestream today announced the new Mi Max 2 device, the successor of the famous Mi Max which had a whopping 4850mAh battery backup and Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM

Looking at the Specifications of the new Mi Max 2, nothing much has changed except for new SoC and other minimal features.

As for the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 specifications, the dual-SIM (Nano+Micro) smartphone runs MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and bears a 6.44-inch full-HD (1920×1080 px) display.

The Mi Max 2 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM.The inbuilt storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB) and comes inbuild with 64gb

The Mi Max 2 comes with a Whopping 5300 mAH battery which is even more than its predecessor, Mi Max which has 4850 mAH.

On the camera side of things, it sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor with PDAF and dual-LED flash. On the front, it sports a 5-megapixel camera.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, infrared, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port

The battery backup of 5300 mAH said to charge 68 percent in just one hour using the Quick Charge 3 capability of the phone and claims to provide a two-day battery life.
